The Polymer REACH project is an industry specific e-learning platform and training materials for the industry to learn how to manage their obligations under REACH.
This unique elearning platform (available in 7 languages) will be useful to anyone who works with polymers or the chemicals that are used to make polymers, whether they are end-users or suppliers. REACH is affecting everyone concerned with the polymer industry and these online modules will help one to prepare for the impact and consequences of the REACH legislation.

How to use the Polymer REACH e-learning platform

Click on Create new account
An e-mail should be sent to your email address. It contains easy instructions to complete your registration.You should now be at the homepage of the Polymer REACH e-learning platform.
To navigate the Polymer REACH e-learning platform
You have two options to navigate into the e-learning platform and access to the information developed by the Polymer REACH project regarding the implementation of REACH legislation:

Option 1
- You don’t want to take an entire e-learning course, you just want to access quickly to useful information about the implementation of REACH.
- If this is your requirement, then you may choose one of the 27 boxes containing important keywords for the REACH compliance and access directly the information related to the content selected.
Option 2
- You want to learn and understand how to manage your obligations under the REACH legislation.
- If this is your objective, select COURSES and you will access the 5 courses below:
- 1 - REACH and the Polymer Industry
- 2 - Roles and Responsabilities and Responsibilities
- 3 - Classification and Labelling
- 4 - Safety Data Sheets
- 5 - Communication in the Supply Chain
If you click on the numbers 1 to 5 (on the right side of the screen), you can see a short description of each module.
Now you will be able to select the order to take the courses and content more useful for you.
Attend an e-learning course
After ‘to enter’ in the selected course, the access to the different chapters is obtained when you ‘click’ on the modules in the general index in the main page.
Each chapter will give you access to useful text and images.
Once you select the first module/chapter, you can go through the different modules/chapters using the jump to option on the navigation bar, or you can click the navigation arrows to scroll through the different modules.
Glossary
- The Polymer REACH e-learning platform has an alphabetical list of terms in this particular domain of knowledge with the definitions for those terms.
- At the end of each course you have to complete the ‘Test Your Knowledge’ in order to obtain the REACH diploma.
To get the REACH diploma you have two attempts for each questionnaire, and you may only skip two questions in each module.

On the left column of the main page of the individual courses, you have 3 boxes with different functionalities and navigation options:Activities:
- Quizzes (access to the ‘Test Your Knowledge’ questionnaire)
- Resources (access to the list of chapters/modules for this course)
Administration:
- Grades (access to the grades obtained in the each questionnaires already conducted)
- Profile (you can edit your profile, change password, etc.)
My courses:
- List of the courses where you are already registered
- On the right corner of the main page you have one assessment option, where it’s possible to consult the on the ‘Test Your Knowledge’ questions already carried out.
